Ottawa Museum of Agriculture Wedding | Melina + Cory

Updated: Nov 23, 2019

June 1, 2019 - one of the busiest wedding days of 2019!

I had the honour of capturing Melina & Cory's wedding on behalf of Direct Your Focus that day while they were off photographing 2 other weddings that day! Phew! Talk about busy bees!

Melina & Cory completely DIY'd their Museum of Agriculture wedding at the experimental farm. From the cute candle holders, to the artificial florals, to the giant "Bar" Sign above the bar, all the way up to the beautiful wooden arch they were married under. Oh, AND Cory welded his own wedding ring. He WELDED his WEDDING RING. How cool is that?! This wedding was beyond beautiful with their little personal touches. Legit #weddinggoals.

If I have to say so myself, I think this was one of my best weddings I have shot to date. Sometimes weddings are just so perfect that every detail has to be captured and this was one of those days. The detail that went into planning and styling this wedding deserves to showed off! Also, those desserts were TO DIE FOR and definitely deserves to have their 30 seconds of fame. ;)

From having the grooms family dog there to promoting "Flying Canoe" Cider all night long in speeches, this wedding had SO many amazing moments, including the best man speech. If I could have recorded it, I would. It was so good! There is so much I could say about this remarkable day, but I'll just let the photos do the talking and tell their wedding story.

Congratulations Melina & Cory! I wish you all the happiness in the world and on behalf of myself, Sophie and Direct Your Focus, it was an absolute honour capturing your beautiful day!
