Styled Shoot at Pine Lodge

This shoot was something I had been wanting to do for a very long time, but I didn't want to plan the whole thing alone because of the amount of work it would take to plan it all out - & it was A LOT of work, but I would do it again in a heartbeat!

A fellow photographer friend, Sophie Fortier of Sophie Fortier Photography, also had the same concern as me - neither of us wanted to plan a styled shoot alone. So we met up, talked about what we had in mind, had the same vision on what we wanted to produce, & literally planned an entire wedding... in 3 months!

One of our things was we wanted to incorporate something fun & unique. We both have a great love for animals so we contacted a few places with farm animals - more specifically, Alpacas! When we got confirmation from Willow Lane Alpacas that they would be in for the shoot, we just about lost our minds! I'm pretty sure we both squealed with excitement & did happy dances. We both love alpacas and this literally made our entire life! It will probably be hard to top a shoot as fun as this one.

When we were looking for models, we wanted to make sure they had great connections, so we put out a model call for some couples who were already married, & also had a wedding dress. We figured if they already had the dress, we wouldn't have to worry about getting another one sized again & also, why not have another chance to wear it again? Most brides NEVER get to wear their dresses again, so we figured it would be an amazing chance to offer this to them.

I must say, we lucked out hard with our models, Aley & Alex. They were our DREAM clients. I mean, swoooooon.... look how GORGEOUS this couple is! And yes, they are married for reals! The way Alex would look at Aley the entire time was with so much love & affection. They were SO much fun, all around down to earth people, & we could not stop the laughter. It was a serious giggle fest the whole day & when we could get them to stay a little more serious, they brought the fire. I'm pretty sure the hotness factor was brought up to 120 that day.

Overall, I can't believe we actually pulled it off. It was more than I could ever imagine a styled shoot to be. Everyone involved was amazing. On top of that, we had almost an entire team of girl bosses & we couldn't have done it without them! Vendor list at the bottom!
