Laura & Will are the cutest, most fun couple I have worked with thus far in my photography adventures. I love all my clients, but like, when this bride-to-be emailed me saying she wanted to throw a snowball at her fiancé I knew this was going to be the start of a great friendship.
Laura had been following me for a while on all the social media things & when Will proposed she messaged me so fast asking if I was available for their wedding date which would include a trip to Toronto. I obviously said "Hell Yaaaasss!" and met with them for a pitcher of Sangria (even more pluses when pitchers of Sangria are included in consults). We hit it off and got to planning their awesome Sunday brunch wedding and winter engagement shoot!
Not only was this session a dream, but these two were legit the BEST troopers. Guys, it was -20 degrees out that day and these two took their jackets off. THEY TOOK THEIR FREAKING JACKETS OFF FOR THE WHOLE THING! I made them put them on in between shots and while walking to different locations - I'm not a horrible person - no one wants frostbite! I also asked them to put them on for one photo (the snowball one) because I said I wanted a "very winterish photo" (complete bull just to throw Will off haha). But my goodness, it was completely worth it!! I mean, seriously, look at the backdrop in the photos below.
I am SO excited for their wedding! Not only because I get to road trip with my awesome friend who will be second shooting with me (shout out to Sophie Fortier Photography!) blasting all the country music and singing till we have no voice, but because it's a freaking BRUNCH WEDDING! I'm ready to eat all the bacon... *drool*.
