Just before Christmas, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing my first ever boudoir session. David contacted me wanting to have a boudoir session done for his gorgeous wife, and I was 100% in. He suggested joining in for a few shots, and well, most the the session turned out to be of the two of them together, which actually made this kinda of a cute concept. Most of my personal favourites are of the two of them.
After a month and a half of 100s of inspiration images sent by both myself and David (okay, mostly David lol), the day came for the shoot. To be honest, I was a little bit nervous. I was completely ready, but when you do something different for the first time, there is a lot of pressure. Once we started getting some awesome photos, I felt a million times better, and they started to loosen their nerves as well and becoming more relaxed.
Christina is definitely no stranger to my awkward posing ideas. If you have ever seen my recreation of the "Black Dahlia" movie poster, the way I had Christina posed was, well, awkward and straining to say the least But damn, did she nail it! I tried my best to make her a little more comfortable this time around.
I am so very lucky to have such amazing friends that are willing to give me the chance to try something I have never done before, and, man, was it awesome! We had such a great time and I would absolutely love to do another boudoir session, with not only them, but with others as well!
Dave. Christina. Thank you SO much for having me as your photographer, and helping me step out of my comfort zone. It should come as no surprise that I have such a great time hanging out with you guys, weather it be with your adorable little family, or with the two of you lounging around at home. Love you guys, and seriously, Wine and Video Game night soon, kay?
