A: First, we will schedule a consultation. This will help plan your dream boudoir photoshoot! During the consultation, we will chat about hair, makeup, outfits, products, payment prepping yourself for the shoot, etc. We will also pick a day + time for your shoot. To officially book your session, you will need to sign a contract + pay the session fee as a retainer. This ensures that day + time is reserved just for you!
A: Once you have scheduled your photoshoot + paid your retainer, it is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please notify me at least 1 week before (2 weeks for AirBnb rentals) before your photo session. Retainer fees are transferrable up to 1 year. It is up to you to contact me to book your new date.
A: Your session includes unlimited outfits, but I like to keep it to about 3 options to make sure we utilize the time for your session. I recommend you bring 5-6 with you + we can choose the best ones while you're getting your hair + makeup done.
A: Most people find it more difficult to find their inner goddess with an audience, so I recommend that you don't bring anyone with you. However, if you feel like you'll be more comfortable with a friend, you may bring one female friend with you to your session. Men are not allowed in the room for sessions (except for couples shoots).
A: I don't recommend it. In photos, tanning tends to turn into an orange hue. Also, it can rub off on furniture + bedding. Tan lines are also not something I will edit out + never look good in photos! Embrace the beauty of your natural skin tone + your photos will turn out so much better!
A: If you plan on waxing any problem hair areas, make sure to do so a few days before your session to give your skin time to heal + loose any redness. If you prefer shaving, make sure to do a close shave the morning of your session. Honestly, you know yourself best so just prepare the same way you would for a big date or a day at the beach! Also, do't forget to touch up those eyebrows!
A: Drink plenty of water leading up to your session, eat breakfast the day of, wear loose clothing to the photo shoot + if possible, avoid wearing a bra to prevent marks + lines on your skin. Depending on your hair, you may want to get a quick trim + touch up your roots. Relax + enjoy your boudoir session! YOU'RE GOING TO ROCK IT!
